Tonight for dinner I ate Amy's Organic Lentil Vegetable soup:
I chose the low sodium kind because soups are packed with salt (check your labels!) and it was seriously fantastic. I topped it with Fage 0% Total Greek Yogurt and 365 Tomatillo salsa from Whole Foods.
I put some blue corn tortilla chips in a bowl for dipping because this soup is incredibly hearty.
The soup has a whopping 16g of fiber and 14g or protein. A perfect easy-to-make lunch or dinner. I usually stock up on Amy's soups whenever they're on sale and whip them out when I'm low on provisions (like today because I go food shopping on Wednesday's!).
Tomorrow is my last day of Whittle My Middle so on Thursday I will let you know how it went and how I think I benefited from it. After this I'm going to need I need a new workout plan so let me know if you have any tips!
With health,
Melissa

Yogurt in your soup?? Now that is a concoction that I'm scared to try...
ReplyDeleteOther than that I like it, although I'm trying to think of if there is ANY fat in that meal...there can't be much in the soup, chips, or salsa (which is awesome, got it 2 weeks ago). Do you know a macronutrient breakdown?
there's 7 grams of fat in one serving of the tortilla chips and 4 grams in the soup. love that salsa!
